All have experience with fear. Is it a real fear? What is real? What instills dread? Dark deep waters, waves crashing on a shore and does night and darkness play a factor?

“We can compare positive states of mind to water at rest,
and deluded states of mind to turbulent boiling water.
If we investigate the nature of boiling water,
we will discover that, despite the turbulence,
each individual droplet is still clear.
The same is true of the mind:
whether it is calm or boiled into turbulence by the overwhelming complexity of dualistic views,
its basic nature remains clear and conscious.”
~~Lama Thubten Yeshe

“Your hands are an extension of the heart.
One can be extended as a greeting,
or it can be clenched to harm.
They may be used to pull another from harm’s way,
or combined to shove a victim to danger or death.
At their most powerful they face each other,
open, palms together, to pray.
To pray in kindness honoring God’s love for all mankind.”

“Then Moses said to God, ‘If I come to the people of Israel and say to them, the God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name? What shall I say to them?’ God said to Moses, ‘I am who I am.'”
~~Exodus 3:13-14

“If one finds refuge in calm stillness by immersion in solitude and peace, all anxiety will fall away.”

“I stand amid the roar
Of a surf tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of Golden Sand–
How few! Yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep– while I weep!
Oh God! Can I not grasp?
Them with a tighter clasp?
Oh God! Can I not save?
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?”
~~Edgar Allan Poe

Let go of your fears.
